It was a sad day anyway. I didn't make it to day 2. XD
And there is nothing wrong with being a book addict! Except that sometimes I sit in one position for so long and read so much that I end up with a headache and a crick in my neck. But it's worth it!
It was funny, I once read an editor's blog and she said that she has lots of issues with reading-related pain because she reads so many manuscripts in a day. She had to get an adjustable stand to put her books and manuscripts on so that she wasn't always looking down at her reading. I never thought of reading as an occupational hazard before!
I'm not very good with anything over two hundred pages in a single day, but shorter stuff in ridiculous quantities suits me quite nicely. I think I remember reading somewhere that Bukowski would read 5 books a day on average. I can't imagine why he'd have back pains.
And just what is wrong with being a book addict?
